Default racing at batley this wednesday night?

There was talk of a club meeting being held at batley this wednesday night. Just wondered if anyone knows if this is going ahead and if so what time it will start and finish?

I finish work on wednesday at 1 and have nothing planned for the rest of the day. I only live 20 mins away from the track so if anyone knows who i can get the keys from ill get there early and set the track up. No need to cut the grass after the pounding it took at the weekend!

Think john might have keys. weather permitting we'll be there.. did you get johns mail out today ?

########################################Hello All,
Just a short update regarding dates for club meetings at our outdoor Buggy track at Spenborough.
Currently we have planned 3 midweek meetings. These are all Wednesday evenings, track will be open for practice from around 17:00, & hopefully we can book in and get going for sometime between 18:00 & 18:30. The dates are (this Wednesday) 28th June, 26th July and 23rd August.
We do hope to arrange some more Sunday dates very soon, I anticipate these to begin late July / early August, depending upon exact dates of other events in this years race calendar.
The latest club news can always be found in the Batley Buggy section of www.oople.com/forums , and we will try to update the club website at www.batleybuggyclub.co.uk also.

Thanks John.
################################################## ###################

I can finish at 4.30, so as long as I bring my gear with me, I can be there for 5pm

not sure what johns got planned, in the past it was a bit of informal racing without timing, I think this is something a bit more organised tho?!?
Either way, as long as I can get some practice in it will be ok

Craig, i did include you on the mailing list this morning. If you have changed email address, please let me know.

We hope to run just the same as any other meeting, with heats/finals and timing. There should be at least an hour or more for practice before we start racing, and maybe time between rounds depending on numbers. I expect as they are one off meetings, things will be quite informal with people more interested in setups and fun rather than dead serious competition (I hope i'm not wrong)

I chatted with Steve Lawson about race fees, and we thought because it would be a shorter session than usual, £3 would be fairer, whilst still covering the costs of fuel, paper, toner etc.

I'm coming to this as is Chris Long and Rich Lowe, we're all planning on running 2wd, I have some X6 stuff to try though still not the plastic bits I'm waiting for (once again Parcel Force continue to amaze me with incompetance).

I can finish at 4, so head over then, grabbing some take away at some point. Sounds likeif we can get the keys we can set up nice and early and crack on.

Who's every idea this was, nice one! Oh and £3 sounds very fair.

Dan

John has all the computer gear and keys. He took them off me and I am pretty sure he was planning to run this Wednesday.
