I have a cc MMP w/ a cc 1406 motor and controlled by a d3xr pro and savox 1256. I know y am I runnin this I'm just bashing until I get my tekin rs pro and I already have a thunder power z3r 5.5t. But my question is If I have the Spektrum volt protector would I still need the cc BEC?

The power cap is just there to stop the voltage dropping too low in the receiver when the servo is used. The power for this comes from your ESC.

Right so do I still need my BEC if I have the power cap?

The bec is supplied by the esc so you don't need a external one.

Right but I've read that almost everyone that runs a MMP with Spektrum and a high voltage servo have glitch problems and that the BEC is the solution and I have both so I was wondering if I can use the volt protector instead of the BEC or even if they're both used for the same purpose?

You will need the voltage protection capacitor to solve that problem
