I have just got hold of a losi 22, I need to buy a lipo for new car, was wondering what peoples thoughts are on the losi stumpy lipo, is this a good option or am I best off with a saddle pack.

Thanks for the reply, seen the trinity lipo, quite a bit more expensive for not much extra, I'm tempted by the losi battery, but the 3800mah puts me off, any one running one what's the power like at the end of a run, does the voltage drop off badly?

I only ever run the Losi 3800 pack and have had no problem on power at all! It’s good for a 7 to 8 minutes run with no problem. Also I find the pack to have loads of punch

In a 2wd 3800 is more than plenty for 10 min plus.
I remember when 1200 was considered alot lol, but we only ran 4 min races and would peak the battery right before the race, carry the car to the starting line and not even turn the steering for being afraid you would dump before the 4 min was up lol. ![]() |

I know that 3800mah is plenty to do the run, just asking what the power feels like for the last minute or so, does the power go soft, I used to run 3600mah stick packs and at the end of a run they were terrible, this was a few years back and things have moved on
