Default what generator

i'm looking for a new generator after my 16 plus year old clark power generator went pop at the weekend while at rhr.

what is everyone using? or what do poeple recommend?
does anyone have a link to any good prices.

I've got a Clarke IG1000. Had some troubles but now sorted. Run it with the filler cap loose to avoid cutting out due to fuel starvation .

Yes, its extremely quiet, I'm sure they are all the same just rebadged.

i run the clarke ig1000,starts first pull.....runs sweet all day,even better on fuel than they claim it to be!! bargain price aswell when they do vat free offer!!
