Well if you want a cheaper 2.4Ghz Steerwheel, JE Spares are doing some good deals on Spektrum Wheel handsets right now!

You can pick up a DX2.0 for less than £40!, and some others are reduced in price quite a lot as well.

As for sticks, most seem to use KO Esprit 2/3 2.4Ghz with or without spektrum modules.

The Futaba stick handset is also popular at our club (with 2.4GHz FASST module)

Cheers
Mark

I'd stay away from the Core sticks. Most of the guys at our club that bought them have got rid. Lots of glitching and random faults.

The Futaba system is good but the recievers are expensive

If you want cheap and quality then I'd recomend you buy a KO Esprit 2 and mod it to take a Spektrum module.

A proper spektrum stick radio is long overdue too.

It seems like Sanwa is the way to go. Just annoying it costs so much

3VCS Futaba, bought it 7 years ago and it has been faultless!

I reckon the cheaper one will be great too.

Sanwa is also very good but I have never used one to compare, just going on what I know from others

What about a Futaba 3GR?
I got one last year and not had any problems with it.

It might not have as many functions as the 3vcs but
how many do you really need.

The price is not bad either, you can get them for under £200.

I agree Phil, I love my 3VCS. But if I needed to by one now I would also go for the 3GR.
