Maastosarja 2011 #1 - Jyvaskyla

Our first outdoor event was held last weekend in Jyvaskyla (Central Finland). 2WD and 4WD classes was run as practice race and official race. On saturdays we run 2WD official race and 4WD practice race and on sunday vice versa. All classes combined there were over 100 entries.

Next weekend I'll be in Vaasa, racing in Worlds Warm-Up event. Hopefully I'll get some video from there too. Second event in Maastosarja will be on 20.-21. of august in Kiiminki (Northern Finland).

After the dust had settled from The Worlds, second round of our national series was driven last weekend in Kiiminki, 600 km to north from Helsinki. Bad weather was playing with us and friday's free practice was canceled due to rain.

Saturday: 2WD:
On saturday 2WD was run with 4WD practice race. Weather turned out
fine, but moist track created its challenges. Grip was different on every
round and drivers were battling with their setups.

Sunday 4WD:
On sunday 4WD was run with 2WD practice race. The Track was more
consistent and drivers could concentrate to driving instead of setup.
