Default lipo transmitter pack charge current question

i just got lipo packs for my 3VC (thanks Jonas !)

these : http://www.rc-book.com/en/battery/tu...er-lipoly-pack

what charge current should i choose ? my searches didn't bring anything up.
i used to charge my old NiCd's at 0.1A...
it says 1C max but isn't it better to charge it "slower" ? like 0.5C for example since the idea is to have the slowest discharge possible ?

thanks !

thanks !

"how much" less ?

what do you reckon is the best for battery life ?

it's a transmitter pack so punch isn't needed, just a long discharge time.

Just 1C. If you want a little bit more life out your LiPo, try 0.5C, that's enough.

Lipo transmitter packs tend to have very high intrnal resistance (Ri) and because of this alot of them are better charged at 0.5C and below. That is the same pack i have and i normally charge mine at 0.5A.
