PT & Handout transponders

As TORCH grows and so forth a current very small number of handout transponders are at times not enough.

For those that don't own a PT you may have to be manually counted etc. If you really aren't happy with this please think about purchasing a PT from AMB or MRT.

We will endevour to provide fun and good quality race meetings, but our hands are tied with regards to hand out transponders. a) they are very expensive and b) no longer readily available.

Ordered mine today to I hope it arrives ready for next sunday wasn't that much at 50.00.

geting your own pt is worth doing i know they are not that cheep but it makes life at racing alot easyer for you and us runing the meeting like mike said the club transponders are geting old and in time will be a thing of the past but as a club we try are best to help people out as much as we can secound hand transponders do come up for sale on ebay and oOple all the time so worth keeping your eyes open

Racers, a note to all the club transponders will all be phase out by the end of the year!
We really are to limited to their long term use as will they ultimately break down over the next year or 2.

So if a group order of PTs is needed, the club will support this, providing enough people sign up. We need 10 in total but club will cover 2 for spares, 8 to place order. If a group order is done this becomes a little cheaper.

Please raise with Julian Mallard next week if your interested.
