i for one havnt gone brushless in my 1/18th shark (almost same as blaze) and the guys at the track most weeks call me a cheat and cant understand how i can beat them, most are running tekin or novak motors with tekin rs speed controllers,
my setup is a standard ftx 4020a 24000rpm motor and a novak xrs speed controller.... try that setup out, its very cheap and fast, if not fast enough for you you could go to the ftx 4020b motor @ 32000rpm, motor about £9 esc between £5 and £15 second hand.... i have gone brushless in my other cars, A novak mongoose 8.5 in my 1/16th and a novak gtb in my 1/10th |
