Default FS2 at Stotfold National 2011

The Kyosho Lazer FS2 showed how good of a chassis it really is at the Stotfold national this weekend.
I bet there were loads of drivers with best results throughout the meeting.
Ellis Stafford and the car were great all day and to say the least, Ellis was unlucky to have the car stop whilst leading for the overall win.
Well done to Lee Martin for taking the win and Ellis finishing second.
In my opinion you guys were the class of the field in 4wd this weekend…... Both RudeBits drivers of course!!

Such a shame for Ellis. The FS2 really is an amazing car, hopefully the doubters will now see the light and give one a go .... sure they won't be disappointed.

Gutted to miss this event, glad to hear the FS2 showed it's metal

Hope E will post his setup - sounds like he was ballistic!

Massive shame that his car just stopped whilst leading

I was gutted for Ellis.

What is more upsetting to me was it was the only kyosho failure i saw all weekend!!!

Still from a Kyosho view it was great for me to see drivers in nearly all finals. everyone i spoke to seemed happy and was getting great results.

Do we know what stopped Ellis' car? So unlucky as the cars are normally super super strong and reliable.

Such a shame his car came to a halt.. the final leg would have been so close... Ellis for me was the quicker looking car.. they left all the others miles behind!

Good result regardless of the outcome... All Kyosho cars looked ace when going round.. be interesting to see how many we will now see at the next national at RHR

The failure to me sounded like the rear gearbox... my guess it will be the crown gear.. another set of gears in there and some shimmige it will be 'reet!

Rear crown gear! Not sure why it went as I have it meshed tighter than it said in the manual but it may have been something to do with the massive smash I had with the car at EPR the week before after half a lap when the car ended up in 2 bits , but I guess I will never know.

Was a good close race up till that point though and pretty happy with the car for teh first time outdoors in the dry, shame it may be the last
