Default fao ezrun users / and what battery connector?

just got my ezrun combo today but the motor doesnt have any wires to connect to esc. neither pre soldered on or loose. is that normal or am i just unlucky?

if i have to buy some bullet connectors myself, anyone know what size? look like 4mm to me but not sure.

also, what type of battery connection do i want? im using nimh for now, tamiya type standard. i know these arent rated so whats the best to use, deans?

last thing.. no matter how i try and mount this esc it fouls on my B4 shell 60a with 6.5 5200kv motor

Running without the fan should be fine for 2WD, no idea about anything else.

Just solder your esc wires directly to your motor. Unless you plan on regularly changing the motor there's no point in using bullets.
I use Traxxas connectors, but Deans or Corally are good.
Hope this is of some help.

PS- This is what i've done, and it's about as " low loss " as you can get.

the wires coming off the esc arent long enough (about an inch too short) to solder directly onto motor and they are female bullet connectors

In that case you've got a couple of options;
You could solder 3 wires of similar gauge to the esc wires to your motor, then terminate those wires with the the matching bullet connector.
2- you could extend the esc wires by soldering extra lengths of wire to them, then place heatshrink over the joints and do it the way I originally said.
As it stands i'd take the bullet connectors route as it allows motor changes without desoldering.
