Default Good times/Bad times...

So, back in the hobby after a 15 year break, first meeting I ran was a 4wd regional at Coventry - not the greatest place to ease myself back in after such a long break but very enjoyable it was and even better - I didn't finish last! Good times.

Sooo, after a misadventure at the weekend I know have a steering hand in a cast for the next six weeks - and I was so looking forward to a bit of club racing over the next few months...Bad times.

I'm considering trying a wheel radio in the meantime just to get some more racing action but realistically I know this is probably a no-go.

Bah.

Bad news, but depending on the position of your break you could always take a Dremel to the cast and remove enough to hold a stick transmitter. I've seen it done many a time before

Adam,

sorry to hear that mate. As Phil says there are ways and means to modify the cast, I remember Super-Dan having his set in such a way he could hold a transmitter (think he took it to casualty with him!).

Having raced with both in the past I'd say that your much better off trying to work with your stick set first before taking the plunge .... especially as your on Futaba 2.4GHz equipment so it's not the cheapest to keep swapping about!

If I can help mate you know where I am (actually .... I have spare Spektrum Rx's and the more budget Spektrum transmitters come up quite often if you did want to go wheel for a few weeks).
