I'm in the process of building my Losi 22 and I got out my brand new Spektrum servo and hooked it up to the reciever in my Xxxcr to center it well I then cycled it several times and it would start self cycling left to right but if I centerd the transmiter it would stop. So thinking I had a faulty brand new Spektrum I got out a brand new Savox servo and guess what it does the same ? But the plot thickens the servo in the Xxxcr
is a less expensive, less torque slower speed Futaba and it operates fine?Anyone have a suggestion, help.... |

What ESC are you using? Ive had problems like this before and its down to the ESC not supplying enough power via the BEC to make the servo work properly. Ive had it happen with mtronics brushed ESC's and a cheap LRP brushed ESC but not with any of my brushless ESC's.
If it is that I don't think there's much you can do about it. These new powerfull servos are quite power hungry.

i think this is why people are fitting power caps in there recievers,it stores just enought to be able to power the servo, sorry if iv understood it wrong but i think that will sort it

I think I figured it out the Tekin rs has adjustable BEC settings, so I'll see what happens after I try that.
