Just guaging the interest if we had an oOple Short Course one day event at a dirt track in the UK. It'd be probably just 2WD and 4WD classes, no motor rules, SC wheels and tyres (no 8th bolt-ons). Maybe an 8th buggy electric support class too.
Let me know your thoughts - not sure if there's enough interest in the SC class yet. Meeting would be about FUN

I'd be able to supply 8 guaranteed drivers minimum, must be 30 SCT's on our membership books atm!
You will have enough to run a meeting buddy, there are loads of trucks out there needing racing get it organised!  If its an Invernational then it would be interesting to see how many international drivers would be keen. A1 Racing Club are running Short Course Carnage 2011 but we have not set a date so we'll have to avoid any clashes.

Hi jimmy.you could add another two from here to in 2 and possably 4 wheel drive
As well.there was enough drivers at 2010 short course shoot out let alone now...go for it.you know you want to....! :-) justin

Several clubs (Coventry, Adur and A1) held such events last year with some success, with the backing of Oople there is no doubt it would work!!
The more racing the better

This is looking viable considering numbers after a couple of days
i know my vote counts for AT LEAST 8 non Ooplers that would easily be dragged along in a minibus and a few of us would be running both 2WD and 4WD classes, some of the guys above mentioned other mates that would race too! I'm sure there are plenty of non forum users and club racers etc that would be keen and a fair few that would buy a truck to enter... especially when the shortcourse national series goes public in magazines. Interest will always be lower without a venue and a date to consider. Lets get it sorted, think its a no brainer now Jimmy has been bitten by the shortcourse bug!
