Default DB01 B parts question

hello all,what does DB01 B5 parts function?thanks

I have wondered the same thing for years now.. I think the slot it covers might be used for certain balancing rigs, but I have never been able to confirm this.. I hope someone else knows..

B5 fills a slot in the bottom of the chassis, I guess it is needed for molding reasons rather than having a direct purpose.

I do CAD work for plastics and its not likely that the slot was created for molding reasons. The slot that part B5 fills definitely has a purpose. There must be someone who knows for sure.

Why not? Looks to me like they created the whole opening from below.

Touche my friend. I stand corrected..

I never noticed the exact location of the slot The mold would need to punch through for certain. Can't believe I never noticed that..
