Default Stupid wheels question

I have hexes all round on my SX, but the wheels I have for the front aren't hexes, they're what look like "pins". I can't see where to get the front hexes off the wheels, and can't tell if the pin is a grub screw type or just a push through.

Anyone got any ideas?

You just take off the rubber o ring and take the pin out.

The Pins are just roll pins which push out, then the hex can come off. There's normally a spacer washer to go on before the pin goes back in. Look at the manual on Schumachers site - all is explained in there...

Pg, 21, 22 and 36 refers to these two configurations / options.

You could take a pic to be sure of the type fitted as Steve above seems to be referring to hex adaptors which are different to the Schumacher ones (unless you can say they are the ones shown in the manual?) If they are the ones in the manual the pins can need a good push sometimes, especially if they are bent for whatever reason..

The pins are supposed to be a good fit so they don't fall out when you remove the wheels.

If that doesn't show then it should be here on my facebook

The hex looks like it might have been put on the wrong way, but I can understand why it might have been done that way

Can't see photo, and don't have a facebook account, so can't see it there either... Just try giving the pin a good push! It won't be screwed in, there's no thread in the drive shaft.

Sorry mate it's been a while, yeh it's a roll pin. Gently knock it out with a small hex key

yeah, it's the page 36 setup I have. schumacher sent me the premounted wheels tyres which are hex rear and pin front, which seems a bit silly. I'd expect the same front and rear.

Well either pin all round or hex all round, that would make so much more sense.
