Can anybody recommend some diff oil to use please? I don't have any black grease around but have some 5k and 3k. Would either of these be ok?

Is this for the ball or gear diff?
If ball, then you need to use grease and not the black stuff, that's for the thrust race. For the gear diff, sorry I have no idea! |

No.
Diff oil is for geared diffs. You need the proper grease and only that - AE Black Grease is for the thrust race, Silicone Diff Grease is for the bigger main balls. |

Do you think you would get away with thermal transfer grease? Its pretty cheap
![]() So the oil is only for the gear type diffs then? Can someone link some grease from ebay that would work? thanks |
