I was tempted with EPR on the 6th, but TORCH is SO good I can't say no!

Loving the astro.

My thoughts too and EPR is such a long way away. I'm on the fence at the mo, but 40% EPR and 60% TORCH. Haven't been to EPR for almost a year though.. Durango 410R at EPR would be good, but the chassis wouldn't love me.....

It's a silly early start and fuel getting there ££££

That's not really a reason to not go racing!!!

I have finally got my new SP GT2.1 EX Pro speedo after a 5 week wait. Just need to plumb it all in (with the savox and V3 motor i just bought too).

So the CAT will be needing an outing very shortly.

The wife's birthday is this sunday so it won't be the 6th. (That is a reason). But the 13th is looking good.

With all the chat going on here from the torch people it is looking like the club is becoming the place to be at the moment.

I am really looking forward to racing this Sunday with all whats going on in 4wd and Simon trying out some boots on his rango.

I have missed the past few weeks due to it being half term and having my little one stay with me.

My car is prepped and I am busting to get back on track.

Anyone who has any questions ref the triple jumps which are coming very soon please come over and have a chat.

Looking forward to it too, was heading to EPR but that's an expensive trip. So saving the pennies for Stotfold mid south regional round 1.

Hi guys, i have been racing 5th scales for a year or so now. An MCD evo 3 comp, and an FG marder.

But racing 5th scale is getting very difficult in the context that i have been doing it in, we even had are track shut down up in angmering that me and 3 others setup.

so I have decided to maybe start up racing 1:10 leccy buggies.

Im thinking about the CAT SX2 4wd c/f pro kit.

but i was hoping it would be ok to come along on sunday, and see what you guys are running ESC and motor wise.

As im not that clued up on racing ESC's

So would it be ok to come down and chat with you guys, see what your running etc. I dont want to pester you guys to much.

Yes please come down, meet the members etc. Things that will help is what level do you want to race at, club, regional etc. Also the dreaded budget.

I assume you are looking at a 2nd hand SX2?

4WD should be good this weekend

Ide rather buy a new SX2

I love building kits. Wish my MCD came in a kit, that way i wouldnt have to fight with the dreaded MCD threadlock they use.

Its either the CAT SX2 or maybe a predator X11.

By some of the posts i asume most people are running Speed passion gear and 6.5 motors.

Its gonna be a month or 2 till im all setup, obviously coming from a 5th scale background, I need alot of extra equipment. So yeah be great to see what every one is using so I get an idea of what to go for.

i think racing at club level for now, im not sure how good i will be with a tiny car, its a bit easyer to race a larger slower car around than some of these mega fast buggys.

this is what im used to.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv1-OGorQwc

budget wise, if i can get a basic setup for less than 500 quid i would be happy. and then i can add to that over time.

Thanks Chris. A hard meeting today due to a couple of technical issues behind the scenes. Just thankful my Durango was ok, gutted silly mistakes cost me a 10 lapper. So I expect to see you at the front with the durango, particularly as oils diff are 2nd nature for you gas boys. I am still a bit WTF with them and at times want a ball diff back!

Roll on the summer series and a few other things I am looking at.

Track work next weekend, so scratch the current best times !!

Great day, thanks guys.

You drove well today Mikey, my setup tips must have worked! I seemed to be quick, but couldn't string it all together for more than the one run! very pleased with the 10 lapper.
