Lipos advice

As I'm old school and just converting to brushless and lipos. Does anyone recommend lipos to use with a 9t 3650-m motor and a 35 a-sd speedo? Ive been looking on eBay but I don't want to buy the wrong stuff and blow my new gear up like I did with my old esc.

all you need is 2s lipo 7.4 volts
i would recomend some form of voltage cutt off device too

From what I've said I've got to push my little wheels around that big old buggy track. What I mean is what speed would you compare it to in brushed terms. I used to run an 11x3. Will it be anything like this?

4WD - >6.5t. This is faster and smoother than my old checkpoint 10x2.

2WD - >7.5. Anymore is just stupid!

Older/less expensive brushless motors are generally not as fast as newer/more expensive ones (I used to run an LRP x11 5.5 that was no faster than my current SP 6.5)

i use 2wd 7.5 to 6.5 4wd 5.5 to 6.5 dependant on track
