Hi there, any idea is Craig is going to put up his (very successful) set up from the Ardent race. I'm going to a very similar track next month and would like to give it a test run at my club race this weekend.
Also if anyone wants to sell their DEX410 please PM me. |

This may be a silly question especially since I am having troubles with my Rango, but why would you not want to run a sway bar on high grip carpet?

I reckon the extra help is the glue on the tyre.....off to buy some tyre glue

Hi mate,
roll bars are about personal preference, and on this track i didnt feel they were necessary. My car was planted all day and didnt for a minute feel like it was on edge or prone to grip rolling. I did try a front roll bar in practice but didnt like the way the car felt when turning. My car felt more consistent without the roll bar, but i did cut two rows off the outer tread, one off the inner and a thin layer of glue on the outside tyre wall. This made the car handle more like a touring car, which was perfect on such high grip carpet. Most of the TD drivers were using roll bars so guess it just depends on how you like your car to handle depending on your driving style. Hope this helps Craig |
