Default Mad Rat bodyshell styles

I am planning to upgrade my mad rat with a brushless systam namely the Ezrun 3 in 1 combo that you can buy from Hong Kong.

I noticed that the ESC is quite tall and that the chassis tray is shallow so the body is most likely going to get in the way.

I would like to replace the shell so it fits over the esc and the fact I want to personalise it myself with my own paint job.

Any suggestions to what shell will fit/ suit this modification and where I can buy it?

Had an ezrun in my rat, lay it on its side still tight but fits in, ran it at torch a while ago now used 23t pinion with stock spur and went well

Cheers.

Looking to buy 10.5t brushless 60amp esc.

Ive read that 9t is a good upgrade for the rat but isnt a 9t a 380 size motor comparing to X.5 whhich are all true 540 motors?

the 9t ezrun is a 380 motor in a 540 sized can, but if you want 10.5 like performance for not much money it's certainly worth it.. OK it won't be as quick as a 10.5 stuck on the end of an all-singing-all-dancing new generation Tekin speedo, but what do you want for £50?.

personally if i was looking buying a cheap 10.5 combo for knocking about with or a cheap buy perfectly capable upgrade to the ezrun system, i'd go either for the 5.5t & 60a esc ezrun combo (unsensored) or look for the xerun systems from Hong Kong instead, which are essentially sensored ezrun systems & pretty much the exact same thing as the Speed Passion range without the inflated UK price tag & fancy livery.

I used to use a Proline Vortex rb-5 shell when i used an ezrun. It was not a bad fit.
Ive heard the Kyosho sword rb-5 shell may fit well also.
