Hi,
i need some expert advice to better understand the differences between Diff balls and which is the best to use in race cars and why. ![]() I generally use ceramic balls but there are more options and i'd like to understand them better. "The more expansive is best" rule is valid? ![]() Tamiya offer: Tamiya 53072 Standard Diff balls Tamiya 53379 HCCA Tamiya 42142 TRF Ceramic Tamiya 53124 Tungsten-Carbide Any help and clarification will be welcome! Thanks in advance! Bye WWD ![]() |

Ceramics are the best - smoothest, longest lasting - so you already have the best.
The others are old tech, and not necessarily cheaper too. Also, the TRF201X uses 3/32" balls, which are different from the other Tamiya cars. Thought I'd mention that just in case.
