Thought I would glue an old slightly cracked front shock tower to a new front shock tower to fit on our ZX-5.
Would superglue be the way to go, or - will have bolts passing through it anyway, just thought it may help. Cheers mick. |

In the past with Schumacher Cats, ive just put two together, but glueing it would be fine too and add a little more strength. Just make sure it is all lined up, perhaps put some screws through one, glue then put the 2nd in place and it'll be perfect, plus put your nuts on it while the glue sets.

Just make sure you don't get glue on your nuts... it can be painful

As a Carbon Fibre Technician, here is a tip. Make sure that you sand the two faces that you are intending to glue together. Just rub it enough to take the shine off the surface. This will give the glue a good 'key' for the glue to bond to.
