Hi,
í´m from Portugal and I have a Cat SX2. Every time I walk the diferential loosening or starts to slip. Previously had a Sx1 Cat and the same was not true. Already checked the assembly with your manuel over again and everything is ok. Can you help me in solving this problem? I do not know what to do .... ![]() Tank's. Best Regards Andrew |

This could be simply down to your C clip needing to be widened before you put it.So when you put it together Stretch it so it has a 6mm gap and then clip it in. If it is a loose fit you can have the problem of it pushing out.
Once it is in the recess and you cant spin it round then it should be fine. If not your thrust race washers could be the issue but they are not old by the sound of it.

Like BIG G told:
Swap the diff around, make left to right... The adjustable screw needs to be on the left side, SPUR Side!!! or when it's easier to see: The grub screw on the right side / NOT spur side !! Otherwise the screw can come loose at acceleration because the thread/winding of the screw has the same rotation as the diff when driving... |
