Default TRF201 Lipo strap

Ok, so now Iīve had time to work some on a new overdesigned...thing...

Itīs another carbon battery strap for the TRF201.
One thing thatīs different about this strap is the weight, or should I say weights.
The carbon strap weighs ~9.5 grams.

In addition to that you can add 6 brass weights. The small weights weigh ~12 grams. The large weights ~15 grams.
So you can choose what weights you want and where to add them.

When all weights are added the strap weighs ~87 grams. Each weight is secured with a countersunk screw. The weights are of course shaped like the holes in the strap. Gives them no chance to move sideways.

Overdesigned? Yes. Unique? Probably. And that is, in my opinion, a classic Tamiya inspired design.

Note! Prototype parts.

Final product will have weight and logo engraved. Note that "my" T-star logo might be replaced with different one...

RudeBits parts do the job. You will like those parts.

But I thank you for your compliment Johannes!.

I just like to do things in a different way. Sometimes good (diffcovers?), sometimes just different?

In this case my first thought was "why do you always have to choose light or heavy?" Why not have options? Now I have lots of options, too many maybe?
Also a plus if parts doesīnt look too bad.

Thanks!

Iīve updated first post with one more pic. Will see what logo will be on it.
You will probably be able to buy the weights seperate. So not a must to buy them. Just an option.
