Can anyone share tips on how to stop splits in a boyshell growing?
I've patched up an old shell with Duratrax tape and shoe goo. I heard you could also drill a hole at the end of the split so there's no sharp edges for the crack to propogate along. Has anyone tried this? |

Simple cheap and quick way is to get an old bike spoke or piece of wire similar diameter heat it over a flame and poke it through at end of crack then use the goo.
