Default Ko compatibility

Just looking to see if ko 297 will work on the ko vantage espritt 2 type r?

Had a 297 in my micro tonight and had no response from it, put in my 301 and worked fine!

Any ideas?

297 works with version 2

Version 2 being?
I think there's a way to change the handset from high responce to the standard setting, is this true or have I read wrong information?
If it's true does anyone know how?

esprit 2 works fine just knock it of hrs mode and you'll be OK

How do you go about doing that? Never needed to as always used 301 receivers.
