Hey Hey!
Have the first regional round of the Welsh outdoor season this weekend and in celebration of this I've got myself a brushless system for my lazer. Not fitted it yet but when I do I'll take some pics of it so you all can see if it fits in nicely or not... Anyways, being the only Welsh racer with a lazer that I can tell it would be nice to put in a good show! Can anyone suggest a good starting gear ratio to run with an LRP Sphere comp and a 3 star motor with the standard spur? Thanks Mike

With a 5.5 GTB Novak I used 18 / 78
I will be keeping the same with my 4.5 GTB for this weekends regional, I will let you know how that goes. I am not sure how this would compare to the LRP motors though. |

Mike, for Caldicot, I would look at gearing it down a little and if you can, reduce the power on the ESC, Caldicot usualy is a small(ish) track and if it stays dry, goes dusty.
