I think that is perforated sheet, not sure where you get it from, can you put a bigger pic up Ry?

Sorry, can't find a higher resolution photo of it. I'm sure I've seen one of the painters on here using it but honestly can't remember which!!!
It's basically what looks like a huge sheet full of holes, all equal in size and spread evenly on the sheet. Holes are probably 1.5mm in diameter. |

you may get it in a paint freehand mask, but dont they do a copper sheet for the modellers looking like that?

yep, perforated sheets
quite hard to find cheap flexible ones. i got a couple ones left over from my computer case. just type varied wording like perforated sheet, mesh, metal etc into ebay or on the internet |
