Default Cat SX to a Durango

Just mulling the Durango at the moment and thinking about changing my SX for a 410R etc.

Have any of you driven both etc?

Guess its all about personal preference but ive driven a Lazer and for me it doesn't compare to the Durango.

Had my best results ever this year with my Rango, and given the fact the 'R' version is so cheap i would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The choice is yours!

Craig

Cant argue with your results pal and me being no-where near as good i cant honeslty say that the Lazer would suit a top level driver.

Then again people like Rich Cree (i actually bought mine off him) have done very well - i believe he got 4th in Petit RC with the Lazer so i assumme they must be good enough...

Yep i run an FS2 - three or four of my pals run them as well.

Again my opinion but the overall engineering, materials and general quality of the car is better than everything else i have seen.

At Southpot regional sunday just gone the four of them i know had no issues whatsoever i.e no breakages or failures and that alone is worth something.

I would also say they are the easiest most forgiving car to drive i have come across - just changing to the FS has upped my results straight away.

Ryan from JE Spares recently got one and ran it for the first time at Southport and did very well with it and he's predominantly a 1/8th racer.

I know he was very happy with the way the car went and previoulsy he did run a Durnago DEX410.

At first glance the FS may look like other plastic based cars but when you get to look up close you can see the difference in materials and general engineering quality/fit.

My advise is to seriously consider one before making yr decision. I havent looked where you live at the moment but if yr down Bury track at all let me know - your more than welcome to have a drive of my car.

May also be worth talking to Ryan or Nick Cario (who's an avid Kyosho fan and knows probably all there is to know about the cars, uprgrades etc etc) to get their opinion.

Im suprised more people dont run them to be honest and it can only be becasue they havent had a close up look or tried one out.

Let you know in a weeks time after i've built my 410/2010 spec (can't wait) to quote lee farrer "It's the SEX" I loved my SX but this is the car i originally wanted (serpent day's) and i'm about to get it hopefully tomorrow But as craig has said it's down to your own personal preference at the end of the day, i just hope the 410 lives up to my expectations.

I'm not doing anything, with the wedding no chance now of new car and of course new LIPOs. Had another invoice this afternoon.

After the weekend, I just think I'm crap with the SX. Not the car, me

been going ok, but I just don't make progress.

Looking at yr fastest realtive to others and then your average it appears you had a few crashes?

A Lazer FS will help you stop this significantly - i know the SX is a twitchy car to drive as are Durnago's - which for an intermediate means more crashes...
