just running my 410R on the bench and it appears that the front drive shatfs don't run true, they look slightly bent. When holding the wishbones level and running the drive train slowly you can see they don't run straight, they are either bent, or the problem is coming from the outdrive not running the shaft true.
Anyone else noticed this ? |

yes mine is the same both top shafts also it seems to vibrate the whole car when on the bench but on the ground it seems ok

yeah.. I don't own an R version, but have seen serveral at our local track and the centre driveshafts do appear to be sub optimal in trueness..

hmm....dont like the sound of that, I was planning on buying an "R" as a spares mule for my current dex-410, in order to have the upgraded driveshafts plus extra shocks, diffs etc.
If this is an issue then perhaps the Teresy (sp) parts are the way to go ![]()

Not Just me then !
I have the problem with the front drive shafts, as well as the front centre shaft from the slipper. On the bench, it doesn't look great. Rear drive shafts are ok, run, nice and true. |
