We made a 2wd chassis to test a new layout for 2wd buggies. We made it fully in carbon fiber and aluminum because we don't like the plastic 2wd buggies from the big manufacturers.
The chassis plates, front damper mount, front and rear bulkheads are custom made. The rest of the parts are from a TRF 501X and the front suspension is from a B4. You can read more here: http://supertec.wordpress.com/ |

That really does look like a top notch car. Really good CAD designs as-well. But just a question, do you think there will be a chance of a six cell version when it comes out. Or have you purposly gone with five for a better weight distribution.

looks great i don't think there is any issue of weight over the back tyres moving the motor inside the chassis moves very little mass load to the front and any difference is counteracted by having there servo mounted further back.

hmm looks good, but only 5cell is a problem and I think the long, thin part of the chassis(between the front wishbones and electronics) looks like it could snap easily
