Question Much more CTX cell master settings

I recently bought a CTX cell master but I have some problems finding the correct settings to charge my Intellect IB4200 (matched) battery's.

Could somebody with some experience give me some tips?

Thanks in advance!

6A for the charge rate, you don't need a super large delta on them (say 06). Linear mode, don't use the step charge or lockout options, K.I.S.S.

Important thing to do is to keep an eye on the cell temperature, if the cells are getting over 45 degrees C (hand warm) with any regularity then they will start to suffer, if the temperature is high either decrease the delta a little or decrease the charge rate.

Don't use any forced cooling ie high power fans and heatsinks, by doing that you make the outside cool but the inside stays really hot. Just a shaded area with a natural amount of air passing over is enough cooling.

Ideally have the full charge finish just before the race.

NEVER repeak a warm or recently charged cell.

It's OK to repeak a cell that was charged the day before, just use the same settings.

I disagree. If you must re-peak, don't actually let the cells peak. Put about 200 seconds charge into them and then cut them off manually.

should never repeak a cell once its charged if you can avoid it, try to get them to peak of just before u race, for 4200 its about 40-55 mins depanding on amps you use to charge
