On my 54 plate Fabia VRS?
Tyres in good condition, no visible corrosion on the rims, and I've had all the wheels water dipped to see if the valves are weeping, but nothng. Yet all 4 tyres gradually lose pressure to the point I'm checking them at least once a week ![]() Any ideas 'cos it's driving me nuts? |

id have the tyre beads glued if they are oldish or damaged on the outer part of the rim as water gets behind the paint/clearcoat and corrodes the rim

Also gob on the valves, will help them seal.

I meant around the outside of the valve - where it seals with the rim, not the actual valve itself

How old are the tyres? These days, once they get to be four or five years old they start to rot and will leak easily. My 5 year-old Michelins went funny on me and got out of round. My wife's car does little mileage, but we have to replace tyres after six years because they just start to break down. New tyres are always perfect, holding pressure for weeks on end. HTH
