Smile Speed passion v3 Are they any good

Im after a new motor right now and I was tempted towards the speed passion over the new novak motors, but recentley loads of speed passions keep coming up in the for sale section, why are people selling them also do they run cool, and which should i go for sp or novak ? Thanks Alex

If they are good enough for Lee Martin and Marc Rhienard then they are good enough for anyone who visits oOple

I recently switched to them for off road and they are very smooth. Come to bits easier than most for servicing too

I have a 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5 and I love them to bits. On astro tracks they can barely be called warm when they finish a race. Tend to get a bit hot when indoors I find, but I guess that's normal. Very smooth power delivery.

The plugs are awesome too. very quick and easy to change a motor if needed.

Hi, I run a 7.5 in the B4 and its super smooth at standard timing and got plenty of top end too, I agree that on astro they run very cool after a competative run, I had mine run in by a friend (before I had used it I must add) at the 2wd regional at blyth/robinhood raceway recently and was faultless all day even though had to play with the gearing as first time out its a big

Mine are quite warm - 8.5 in the SV and 7.5 in the SX, my gearing err must be wrong

81 / 26 in the SX and 78 / 27 in the SV based on what the manual says...
