Default Tamiya Dyna Storm Tjompa Edition

Hi!
I have been working on my dyna for approx a month now, i have turned that fragile original car into a full blown racemachine (i hope)
The parts are from nimrod racing mostly, some steeringblocks from 3 racing and new carbonparts.
I link some pictures to my blog if that is okey.
Tell me what you think! Have anyone on here done the same thing?

More pics: www.elbilen.wordpress.com

Have a nice weekend!

The cf towers and the topdeck is my own design. You can see the Tamiya logo star on the rear tower, kind of unique and the rear tower is also lowered on the middle to ge more air to the lowered wing.
I have broken one of thoose superduper rear arm holders, was a bit fragile i think...have you experienced anything negative on thoose parts yet?

Nice to see another Dyna Racer! Here below mine, i found a good compromise using Nimrod, Tamiya TR-15T parts and Asso shocks.

Can you tell me what kind of ball ends (adjuster) you have used on your? I like them.

Bye

nimrod...
I am more than dissapointing right now, my car is less fragile on the rear end with the original uprights and arm holders..
The nimrod parts are so freakin hard som they snap by nothing, i cant figure this out, the plastic they use are like glass.

The ballends are from Kyosho.

Nice to se another dyna racer on here. One day maybe i can race mine for more than 2 minutes.

I'm using Nimrod front and rear arms Version2 and also D parts V2 and they seems to resist i had a lot of practice sessions and some races on them without any problem. Is it possible that they changed the plastic composition? Tamiya TR-15T parts works wonder too.

Thanks for the ball end advice!

I have finished one set of uprights and one set of d2 parts in two minutes, i am not a basher, i was supposed to race this car a little bit more serious on regular racetracks..

If there where parts in old associated nylon i would be happy to buy some, that was bulletproof back then...like 20 years ago...

I have sent a mail to nimrod and i keep you updated as soon there is any answers.

I need to make "the perfect D parts" myself i guess cause i havent found any yet.

They are one of the weakest part, i broke more than one D on my Dyna but only the original ones, they can barely resist a practice afternoon at the track if the car is run strong. They broke when they loosen and take some play.
If you keep them very firm the problem is a lot less evident even with stock ones.
With Nimrod D V2 and good treadlock they seems to resist the race track abuse.

Keep us updated if you find a better D solution.
