Default PRIMROSE VALLEY MODEL WEEK 2011

The organisers of the Primrose Valley model week would like to thank the drivers who took part during the week. An event like this takes alot of hard work, building the tracks, booking in and sorting the heats. Your co-operation during the week with changing heats, marshalling and ensuring the safety of the public by following the safety rules was very much appriciated. We were also very greatful so many of you stayed on and helped pack up the track and equipment at the end of the week. It was also very pleasing to see so many of you talking to the public about our hobby and the model week in general to help raise the profile of the event.
We already have plans to improve the rostrum and race plans for 2011 so please spread the word and keep in touch one and all.

Many Thanks to Barry John and Colin for setting up another great week of car racing onroad and offroad the tracks where good the offroad was long and flowing, I still think the 12th scale nitro truggies are the best of fun, although I would not give the 8th buggies and truggies up. I just wish more clubs ran the CRT.5s. Anway nice to see all the old faces and some new ones hope to see you all again next year. Ashley

although only doing 2 days of the event i really enjoyed it , the week was well organised and well run.
i would recomend the event to anyone it has both a mix of a weeks holiday and a chance to indulge in a bit of racing every day.

looking forward to next year with hopfully a few more cars in the fleet.

May i take this oppurtunity in saying a very big thankyou to;

BARRY ABBOT
JOHN ABBOT
COLIN PARSFIELD

Once again for all there hard work,endless hours and dedication these guys put in to make this Model Week happen

The wheather on the whole was really good just with 2 showers all week and after waitng for it to clear up 3/4 parts of a hour the rest of the week went really well with excellent racing as usual and a fantastic A finals all through some very close racing indeed;

The whole week was fanatstic from the racing to the socializing in the evenings with the same brillant atmosphere from start to finish;

As usual Dave Lisa and myself from Podium Rc throughlly enjoyed ourselves and already booked caravan for next year

A few more drivers would have made things a little easier on the racing and marshalling sides of things but i feel overall the week went very well with relaxed racing all week

So all in all congratulations to Barry ,John,Colin

May i also thank everyone for helping take everything down and pack away on Thursday evening after racing had finished this was muchly appreciated and made things alot easier on the guys who run the model week so a big thankyou for all your help

All what is left to say is

ROLL ON NEXT YEAR

Any one fancy running a tamiya M chassis class next year for a bit of fun? All cars must be standard. You can pick up cheap M03's from the bay at the mo. Just a thought, let me know.
