1/10th comeback
Evening all
I am coming back to 1/10th off road and am looking for some recomendations as to what to get So looking for recomendations on what to buy 2wd. Is the mad rat or the b4 4wd. Any recomendations and speedo and motor ect Thanks in advance Pitman

2wd the b4 is the better option, but the new tamiya looks interesting and also the new schumacher as well. Best bet would be to go for the one that looks best.
4wd i prefer the tamiya trf511, and is a simple car to drive and set up but otherwise if you dont like get the associated b44. Electrics lrp sxx tc is what i use (its brushless only) with either a losi motor (its cheap but works well and easy to solder) for club and an lrp x12 for events. Winds, well if using lipo (i use vampire 4400 saddles) then a 7.5 or 6.5 is the way to go. Hope this helps.

its all completly changed since I did 10th 3-4 years ago it was about the time that lipo was just creeping in to the sport but you never saw it trackside because of brca rules ect When i do come back i will be racing not bashing so i will be buying race oriented equipment think I will take a trip on Friday to the new bury place pick up some tips and tricks Any more recomendations

2WD I would recommend the kyosho RB5. I have driven the B4 and RB5 in the last few weeks and found the RB5 better to drive.
4WD I run a ZX5 FS but if you haven't driven for a while then I hear good things about the B44. Electrics I cannot fault LRP.

other than the "let your budget be your guide" - read around the forum and become better versed on specific vehicles you might be interested in and what you plan to do (backyard bash or race) so as to not ask such generalized and vague questions

Basically its - how far can you stretch, if you have a large budget go for a more expensive car e,g Schumacher Cougar SV Pro - £248.99 from microtech racing.
Electrics wise - I can not fault the Novak Gtb speed controllers and Velocity motors.
