Hi guys,
First of all I want to thank you for running this forum. It's a sea of information! I bought a TRF501x a few weeks ago and I would like some advice if possible? So far these are the parts I have: One way front Rc scews Ti turnbuckles adjustable belt tensioners Kanzen bearings 87t spur gear Losi spring set (3 way) aluminium rear upright aluminium caster block (10deg) Futuba Fasst 3pm (R603ff receiver) with S9451 servo 3 pack's of selected-matched intellect 4200wc battery's Robitronic Overloader So here is my question. I have really no idea wich tyres and inserts are best for a wet and dry astroturf track? Am i missing something that is really needed? TIA Best regards |

Looks like you have got yourself well setup there, the only things I would add are full set of associated springs and I wouldnt use then ally 10deg caster block as it wears at the kingpin and has a lot of slop after a while.
For dry astro, I would use yellow minipins with some Mr 'O' Blue foams and in the wet I would use some Green minispikes with the same insert, both of these tyres from Schumacher. HTH as allways

You forgot the most impotant Hop up : Kanzen ceramic diff balls.
Indeed, use the AE springs. Somehow they're a better fit for the TRF shocks then the Tamiya springs You should also consider replacing the kit ball cups. I'm using RPM cups and Schumacher ball studs. |

The Kanzen ceramic diff balls are in the list
Do you have some part numbers for the associated springs (wich colors?) and for the other 2? Thanks |
