Ok I know what the EXP function does on my remote but have not mastered its uses. Can some of you break it down for me and when there are good tomes to use it. For the longest Ive just driven fine without it but wouldnt mind an edge if it does help me. Im racing 1/10th 4wd buggy and 1/8th truggy

I use the throttle exponential to make the bottom end of the trigger smoother. The first half of throttle movement doesn't make the buggy do anything silly so its great for tight parts of the track but then full throttle still gives all the power for the straight and to clear jumps with a small run up.
I only started to use it when I went onto new 40c lipos and the instant punch was too much for the slippy floors I run on ![]()

If you have a Spektrum Dx3s/3r transmitter you have to use positve expo
![]() If not on Spekky you'll more than likely use negative expo from the manual Quote:

I understand now what its function is...but lets say ur in a jam and u have to steer quickly out of the way or else u crash...wont the expo contribute to that if its set to numb the steering or throttle? its tricky..itll help with handling but in extreme situations it might kill you?
