Okay Dan, So this region is new to me, a few questions:-
With mid-West they have to book in before the Wednesday or they get charged £2 go in the bottom heat (not a seeded heat) and don’t get practise. Can you book in on the day and is it free practise from 10:00 to 11:00? If I race two classes what is the turnaround in time for rounds, will there be time to fix or make setup changes? Tony

Hi Tony
You can book in on the day for Northwest Regionals, without penalty charge and you will be placed in a heat that reflects your ability. Obviously, running two classes limits the amount of time you have between races and the time between round is dependent upon the number of entrants, but I would expect there would be at least 40 minutes between races.... I have no idea about the practice arrangements for the day however. |

Tony,
As Chris says you can book-in on the day and will be sorted in to an appropiate heat. With regard timings, Last year I think we had 8 heats in qualifying that sorted down to 5 finals of 2WD and 2 finals of 4WD. I expect we might get a few more this year, hopefully in 4wd to help spread the day out. Work on a guidline of a minimum of an hour per round. Racing both classes is possible, it will make it a busy day for you... but worst case is you might end up missing a round if you have a big breakage to sort out. Obviously all things are weather dependant and a bit sunshine helps turnout no end! |
