Anybody now if there is a website, so we can follow the meeting, seems like its a big meeting in the US and a few UK guys have gone over as well.

We'll be doing our best to keep things updated from the track at www.2wdrc.com and www.4wdrc.com . Greg is there now and Paul will be in the morning. I'll get there Friday morning and my job is mostly to get web stuff going, so it'll happen for real then. I hope... Stories & photos for sure, maybe some podcasts. We'll have videos up Sunday or Monday. I hope...
Unofficial practice Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, with first two rounds of qualifying Friday and two more Saturday. It's round-by-round, with what we call "qual points." The fastest time for each round gets 0 points for that round, next guy gets 2, next 3, and so on. Best two scores count to set the mains, which are run on Sunday. Cactus is usually a "technical" course, meaning it requires much skill, but it normally does not have huge jumps. From what I've seen & heard, no "big air" this year. Hodapp says both of his cars are dialed.. Last edited by YoungChazz; 15-03-2006 at 12:05 AM. |
