Default Thank You from Swindon RCMCC

I would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone for coming to the Mid South 2wd Regional at Swindon today.

It was a great meeting, we did our best to keep everything running smoothly. The track held up well thankfully as we decided to run FTD qualifying for a change. The barbie was a last minute decision (made at 9pm Saturday!!),and was a success, and will be present for the 4wd regional on 22nd July. Hopefully none of you will be off work on account of my cooking tommorrow!!!

Congrats to all the winners

Who were:

D, Jordan Cook
C, Tristram Neal
B, Paul Timberlake
A1, Lee Martin
A2, A3 and overall, Kev Lee

Thanks again on behalf of all at Swindon RCMCC

Mike

See you all 22nd July for 4wd

yeah huge thanks Mike.
I had an awesome day, great track. Managed to put the RB5 in the A final in its first ever meeting, delighted.
Might have had a half decent result too if i didn't get tagged by pidge in the fist leg while in 4th!! (don't worry Lee, you were about 2 seconds per lap quicker after you crashed on the first lap!)

It was a well organised, friendly meeting, i had a great day.

Lee was unfortunate with his run of finals after his white wash in qualifying. John spencer also had an unlucky run of finals after qualifying 2nd, but well done anyway mate.

Thanks to all that put the work in to run the meeting, it was a great success.

Haha ! wondered what the "Dirty Kev Lee" was all about . I'd just like to clarify that was after the race! (sweet move though ) I made it up to you in the second leg though when i "marshalled" your car coming on to the straight and ended up on my roof..... and demoted to 6th!

I don't know about the series, i think Lee still took the meeting as points are awarded for qualifying too.

Same as Lee, was good meeting today.
Not only did i have to put up with Pidge and Teddy Truman on the rostrum, I had to fight the spiders!!!!
I now know how Mr Martin has won two nationals this year !!! (Sort that tranny out)

Well done too Dirty Kev Lee for his win, must say Lee Martin for T'Q at Oswestry!! He was rapid today.
