Default 42163 TRF511 Box Type Battery Holder

Tamiya have announced some new stuff for the next model expo.. including

42163 TRF511 Box Type Battery Holder

Nice.. a proper lipo solution for the 511 and 501..

Other things of note is the 58456 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (TA05 Ver.3)

v.2 isn't even a year old, as it only broke cover in spring last year... might of been later than that.. I want to see a LiPo specific car!!

Trust me, there is no version 3 and that was a typo.

The box type battery holder is a lipo tray.

I presume this will be different (slimmer?) posts and a carbon lipo retainer?

Default Rudebits brass tray

Might want to just hold fire on the battery tray as there is possibly a rudebits brass tray in pipeline (so I've heard) ??

Whn I ran flat bottomed cells I bought Schumacher cell locators (theyare carbon rectangles), dremelled them down the the right size and double sided stickied them to the lipo!
