Default XX4 CVD's

Hi all...

Ive got CVD's all round in my XX4, i was rainc yesterday but a wheel came off and i lost one of the front drive hexes...

Had a look on a few sites but cant find a part number for a replacement hex??

Anyone know where i can get hold of a couple??

You lost a roll pin out the hex. I had to take mine out yesterday and i had to hammer them out.....

Probably had the hex on after the roll-pin. Obviously not the right way round, but a common mistake made on the XX4/XXX4 front CVD's.

Doing it this way also make the car a tad wider...

Losi part Number A9933 CVD rebuild kit for the pin and A9967 for the hex but it also includes cvd set at about £30 ish

Get Associated hex - it will allow you to use also AE or Jconcepts wheels.
I've used them for a year - works well.

Nothing wrong with Losi Hex's if you put them on right and use good pins

Just lost the actual hex... You cant buy them on their own?

It was put on the wrong way, pin then hex, but thats just how it came and the cvds' arent in the manual so i left it as it was...

Tried b44 ones, if i tighten the wheel up properly then it rubs on the hub carrier? Slacken it off a touch, it doesnt rub bur its too loose? Any ideas??
