If you have ever seen one of these in action then you will see why it a decent asking price.

google promenade stages new brighton and watch it destroying ex wrc subaru's etc!

The only other car that comes close each year is a darian

I see he put them 2 up on the free listings day yesterday

How much would Ebay have took off him for them starting prices or what they are going to take off of him for selling them.

Can't get on Ebay at work - is it a 6R4? £70k is surely CHEAP for a 6R4??

Still love them!

Thats an amazing car but you are paying for the lineage and milage.

I remember when they was banned in rallying my local garage had one for about £35k in full rally colours it was there for a long time. Then a while later an RS200 now that was a proper car not just a mini with a huge V8 engine mounted in the boot.

Ahem - V6 - hence the "6"R4. Did come in various guises though - 2.8, 3.0, 3.6 and 3.8 litres. Then there were the likes of Will Gollop's 2.3 BiTurbo. Arne Rasmushaugen had a BiTurbo as well.

If you want fully Group B spectactular photos and info, go looking at some of the Rallycross websites. There's a plethora of stuff to wander through.

Think the 2 most insane Rallycross cars (not Group B) I've seen were Arild Martinsen's 4WD BMW M3 at Brands - which punched out 1000BHP and left black streaks from the start line to the first corner, and a Chevy Monza with a 3 speed semi auto drag race gearbox converted for a chap who'd been paralyzed in a rally crash. Epic machinery
