Its prolly somit to do with the USB ports and vista/windows 7. I know I can't flash my phone rom from vista/win 7, it just errors or bricks it.

Might be wrong though, someone might have done it already

What type of device does the ESC come up as in hardware manager?

I was using VMWare workstation with 2003 server installed with my Tekin until recently.

have a look at vmware workstation, or possibly MS Virtual PC (Free download).

Get a legit copy of XP, and install the software on that.

Should work! Mine worked on my XP laptop I had.

There's a problem with the Losi software and 64 bit operating systems. It didn't work on Vista 64 but did on Vista 32. I'm guessing that even though you're in XP Compatibility mode it'll still be 64 and not 32 bit.

I'm running the 32 bit version of Windows 7 with no problems.

You can download the new virtual pc and the xp mode all from the microsoft site, think you still need a key though, but it's easier as you dont need an xp cd.
