Hi guys,
I m new, and i buy a Dex410 2weeks ago. Currently i build the car but i have a few problems. The first : when i put the front diff on his case, i have a cracking when i turn the transmission. I dont know where come from this problem. If i remove the front diff from the case, the diff can be turn without problem. Any one can help me ? The rear diff dosen't problem. Thanks !! Franco |

One of the larger gears isnt sat all the way home, mine did this, they are i tight fit, i knocked mine on with a screwdriver handle.

actually, my problem isn't with the diff, is when i put the diff in the front case with the CVD.
When i turn the CVD, the diff block. Feel like if a part block the case. And the front transmission dont work free like the rear. Sorry, i dont speak english fluently so... it's hard to explain hehe. |

Try putting the diff in the case without the CVD to see if that spins freely. If that spins free then it cant be blocking on the case.
Then put the CVD in without the diff to see if anything is catching there. If both of these individually spin free then it must be how your meshing them together. Check all the teeth on your gears are ok and there is nothing stuck between them. Hard to know exactly what the problem is without looking. Craig Collinson |

i just tried to put the diff in the case without the cvd and the transmission dosen't feel free. May be i can help if i tell you where step i m ? i m on the page 21. Thanks again |
