Default b maxx front hub mod

hi all been playing about a bit this weekend at worksop and tested bx front hubs on the b max , worked a treat ,, at work sop the car tends to understerr but when i changed to the bx front hubs it totally transformed the car , firstly the steering travel had increased due to the bx hubs being thinner and the bx hub seems to have more adjustment due to two holes for height on the set up ,, ironically all i did was swap hubs and no initial modification was needed ,, ie no dremmeling cutting any thing at all ,, so if you struggling for steering try this out ,, im sure yardy might shed some light on this if he s tried it

also prt number is bx 413 10 guys ,,,

Default champ pack hub postion too

hi all just had a bit more of a play about on the bx front hubs as when i was running at the weekeend i put the bx hubs on in the upper position for the champ pack set up thinking that it would n t work in the lower position ,,, mmm now i ve looked at tryed to change it to see if it would work in the lower postion and surprize surprize the b max steering arms fit on the bx hubs in the upper and the lower postions sweeeeeeeeeeeeeett ,, so this means you can have the hub and the arm lower on the hub and lower on the steering arm or vice versa and so on with no modification to it at all and no the drive shaft dont foul anything either more playong time me think is needed with this ,,,

my next chalange is the slipper assembly as to me and one or two others it works but its not easy to adjust at the best of time s ,, at the present i ve got more thread lock on it than i can caree to mention ,, yes its not comingloose but there s room to change it and get a grub screw in there i think

Cheers for that! Good knowledge!
Just in the process of building mine and will be useful having some BX bits in the box to play about with!
