Default waterproofing

hi all going on what's happened at kiddy with people blowing speedo's the weathers not looking to good for this weekend at the moment for the bury regional just wondering what people use to try and keep the water out of the speedo

blu-tac the mode and set buttons, and the LED holes.. anywhere water might be able to creep in.

if you can, mount the speedo on 3 or 4 bits of servo tape so if the worst happens it will not be 'sitting' in water on the chassis.

the biggest thing is making the best seal between your body and your chassis, once your car is good to go, duck tape the body on.

raise your ride height too, it does help

try and race a 'dry' line

but, the main thing is, YOU have to choose if you want to risk your equipment or not.

i use cotton wool aswell as it helps soak up the water before it gets to electrical bits to do damage.

a good dose of wd40 lol
any one who ever owned a mini always had a can in the car lol

its a water dispersant for those who not in the know
or to fill the gaps silicon sealant ( kitchen & bathroom)

Also put velcro around the outside of your chassis and on the inside of your body shell.
